Copy Clinics are short, deep-dives into specific materials that require content strategy and wordsmithing to ensure the message you want to convey comes across clearly and productively (aka your person on the receiving end takes the next step, whatever that looks like for the goals of your business).

Depending on your specific needs for writing help, we’ll either get your project wrapped up or get you past any challenges that have impeded your progress to date.

Copy Clinics are excellent for projects like:

  • finalizing the words for the email campaign you’re on deadline to get out the door

  • website copy you’ve been tinkering with for weeks

  • program or course title, subtitle, and module descriptions

  • organizing content for a slide deck as you prep for a presentation

  • setting up your lead magnet to email nurture sequence

  • content review and editing of a free resource you’ve created but don’t feel is ready to share

  • sales page copy editing and content layout

  • reviewing a proposal and optimizing for best chance of acceptance

How a Copy Clinic works:

  1. With a Copy Clinic you get TWO private sessions, a 90-minute 1:1 session plus another 30-minute follow-up session usually a week or so later.

  2. When you first book your Copy Clinic, you’ll schedule the first 90-minute session. During scheduling, you’ll be asked to complete a questionnaire so that we have all the information we need to understand your situation and what you want to accomplish. You’ll also need to pay the invoice in full at the time of booking to secure your spot on the calendar.

  3. You’ll have the opportunity to share materials in advance of your first session so that we can hit the ground running during our time together.

  4. At the end of our first session, we’ll schedule the 30-minute follow-up. This is a time for us to wrap up whatever loose-ends we created during the first session and plan for any additional next steps.

  5. After each session you’ll get the video recording plus audio transcript as well as any supplemental materials like writing templates or content development tools and screencast recordings of your materials.
